The children had a wonderful time completing an activity called "Shadow Play" as part of our work on problem solving. The children were trying to work systematically and find all of the different 3D shapes that could make 2D shaped shadows.
They also found out a few scientific facts . . . the light wasn't good enough to create shadows in the classroom but the gorgeous sunny day was just right to make shadows. Although, it did mean we couldn't stay out too long!
