Christmas cards and calendars!

We have been busy making Christmas cards and calendars to bring home. 

Our calendars are based on the 4 seasons and we have used a variety of art skills to produce them.

        We chose from 2 designs to create our Christmas card, trees or baubles,                                             but glitter was essential!

This term we have been concentrating on balancing, climbing as well as developing different types of rolls. We used the wall bars for the first time, which everyone enjoyed.

Mr Toyne has also taught us how to do a forward roll and a pencil roll safely. Once we could do these, he gave us a challenge!! 
                   Could we do a forward roll over 
                   the top of someone in the pencil 
                   roll position? 
                  I think we managed it very well.

Loving Reading in Year 1 / 2

The children were really pleased to receive the new books for their class library and reading corner.  They loved sharing them and can't wait until the next time that they can enjoy them.

NK Multiskills event- Monday 5th December 2016

I took a group of 28 Y1/2 children to NK on Monday morning. We took part in a multitude of activities testing many different PE skills. The children were brilliantly behaved and had a fantastic time. We look forward to the summer one.
