African patterns and mask making

African Art

We have really enjoyed finding out about the various art, colours and patterns associated with Africa. 

We have used lots of different designs to help us create our own African style art. 

We are in the process of making some African masks, both 3D and 2D, so watch this space.

This is the class design which is being printed onto material, a work in progress.

 Working together to create the basis of the 3D masks with paper mache. A messy job, but the results will be worth it.

Using the I pads to explore effective designs and colours which will be used on our masks.
