Our wonderful day out.

What  a fantastic day we had last Wednesday at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.  From the beautiful sunny weather, the exciting coach journey, the variety of different animals we saw and the wonderful behaviour of our children.
It was a really lovely experience and all the children represented our school brilliantly. We all went home tired, but very happy.

Yorkshire Wildlife Park

We have had such fun today! The weather has been particularly kind and allowed us to enjoy the day to its full! We managed to get around the whole park. We also enjoyed an informative classroom session where we explored our knowledge of animals and their habitats! We even got the opportunity to hold some of the animals if we wanted to!

What an amazing day out! We should all sleep well tonight.

On Guard!

Today in PE we enjoyed fencing with Mr Toyne. We learnt how to hold the swords correctly and how to position ourselves correctly 'on guard'.  We also mastered how to move forwards and backwards. It was lots of fun!

Enjoying World Book Day with our Book Buddies!

  World Book Day Fun
We spent a lovely day sharing our favourite stories and books with each other and then we were lucky enough to have stories written for us by Mr Batley's class. It was great fun listening to them and seeing lots of well known characters turn up in their stories!

World Book Day

We had a wonderful time on World Book Day.
We shared our favourite stories with our class mates.

We shared stories with our Year 6 buddies.

We were also lucky enough to listen to Mr Toyne, Mrs Cotton and Mr Newberry all sharing their own stories with us too.
