Thank you so much to all the children and adults for their hard work and support in this event. We all had fun!

Poetry Time with our Buddies

The Year 2 children have been working hard all week leaning about different types of poetry and working on one in particular, named "My friend Horace".   

As an end of term treat they loved sharing a selection of poems with their Year 6 buddies and even had a go at writing their own poems, based on the poem we had learnt but all about the minibeasts they had designed themselves. 

The session had barely ended and the children were all asking when they could do it again.

Using our ICT skills

This term we are learning to use a new app called Moldiv in our ICT lessons. We have  explored the school grounds, photographing the different types of flowers. 
With these images we have learnt how to put them into a collage, add a border to our picture and  some text.
 Here are some of the results.

We used Playdough to make our first version or our coil pots. Our clay ones are nearly ready for decorating.

This term the children have been learning about 3D structures, artists and how to manipulate clay.
