World Book Day

We had a wonderful time on World Book Day.
We shared our favourite stories with our class mates.

We shared stories with our Year 6 buddies.

We were also lucky enough to listen to Mr Toyne, Mrs Cotton and Mr Newberry all sharing their own stories with us too.

Fencing Fun with Mr Toyne

Mr Toyne taught us lots of new skills, techniques and technical terms this week in PE and we had a great time practising with the swords.

Fun investigating 3D shapes

The children had great fun using the marshmallows and cocktail sticks to make the 3d shapes we have been learning about

They had to compare the two shapes they made to find the similarities and differences.

They had to use the vocabulary we have learnt.....vertices, edges, faces.....

Firefighter Visit- 6.11.18

Our current topic is The Great Fire of London. We have been learning many facts about The Great Fire. We also had a visit from a local fire engine. We got a tour of the cab, looked at some of the special tools they use and got to use the hose! Have a look at what we got up too....
