Ready, Steady...Read!

We had a wonderful time this morning in our first Ready, Steady, Go....reading some of our favourite books with family and friends as part of National Storytelling week! Thank you to everyone who came ☺

Reading buddies

1/2GB have teamed up with 4T to be reading buddies. We get together to share a love of reading and we really enjoy ourselves!

Material Tree

We used many different materials to make a textured tree. We had to name the materials and describe them. We also had to find different ways of attaching the material to our tube.

Guess Who Homework Projects

This week, we celebrated the wonderful "Guess Who?" homework projects that the children in our class had created. The children each told the class the clues they had generated about a chosen famous person and we had to guess who it was! It was great fun and we really enjoyed sharing them. The photos show us being proud peacocks with our homework projects!

How to be a good friend iMovie

In Year 1/2 GB we've been learning about how to be a good friend. We made an iMovie to show our thoughts. We hope you enjoy watching it!

Exploring Materials

Year 1 have explored materials. We sorted them into different categories by feeling them and looking at them. Some were shiny/dull, soft/hard, smooth/rough, bendy/stiff or cool/warm. We even found one that was TRANSPARENT!
